Recent Government measures and the delay of plans for the return of spectators at sports events means our remaining 2020 fixtures will be played behind closed doors.
Unfortunately, it is also a possibility that the 2021 Guinness Six Nations may have to take place behind closed doors or with a significant reduction in attendees.
We have therefore taken the decision to give ALL current Debenture members a full Season Extension on their existing Debenture(s).
For example, this means that if the rights period under your current Debenture is due to expire on 31 August 2024, then we are extending this to 31 August 2025.
Although this decision will have a financial impact on the RFU, you have given so much support to English rugby over the years, we believe it is important to do this as a gesture of goodwill and to thank you for your continued support.
Should a reduced number of fans be able to attend the 2021 Guinness Six Nations, we will also try, if possible, to provide you with access to tickets. When we have further news on this, we will let you know.
